Teach English to monks, novice monks, nuns, and local children around Hua Hin. Outside of teaching, step directly into authentic temple life: join guided meditation sessions, learn Buddhist traditions directly from resident monks, participate in Dharma talks, and observe ancient ceremonies. You'll finish your program with an official volunteering certificate to highlight your community impact.

Your first week, day by day

Orientation runs from our hub in Hua Hin before your monastery placement begins.

Fly into Bangkok on the Sunday before your Monday start. We meet you at the airport and drive you to your shared accommodation in Hua Hin.
Orientation with the Xplore team, and the teaching materials you use in the monastery.
A session at the temple led by the monks, on meditation and its place in Buddhism.
Buddhist history and teachings from experienced monks, then a Dharma talk on managing stress and personal growth.
Practical workshops on running your classes, and time to prepare your first lessons.
Night markets, royal palaces or the beach with the group. From Monday you start teaching in the monastery.
